Motion Detection Sensitivity Set sensitivity configuration for each camera. ICON MAIN FUNCTION PIR Only PIR or Motion Low PIR or Motion Mid MOTION DETECTION RANGE PIR effective within 5M SETUP DESCRIPTION Motion detection via hardware PIR sensor on camera only. Detect biomass motion using PIR sensor only. PIR effective within 5M, software effective within 4M PIR 5M software effective within 5M Detect motion using PIR sensor or embedded software with low sensitivity, whichever detects moving object first. PIR or Motion High PIR 5M software effective within 6M Note: Click on the icon for that camera column to cycle through sensetivity levels. Motion Detection Masking Area 1. Select the camera to set up motion area detection. That camera's live video displays with a 6 x 6 section grid overlaid on the image. 2. Double-click on a block of the grid where motion detection is not required. Continue clicking on the grid until you have established an area that does not require motion detection. Note: The first click brings up a visual identification mark in the grid block, allowing users with large screen TVs to easily identify the grid selected. 20
