Using ViewSonic Device Manager Viewing and Managing Event Logs 3.5.4 Exporting Event Logs To export event logs of your system, please do the following: 1. On ViewSonic Device Manager, click Logs tab. 2. The Log list appears. • To export log entries within a specific scope, click the drop-down menus to define the scope, and then click Apply to confirm. • To export all log entries, ensure that, on drop-down menus, the selected options do not limit the scope of the Log list. NOTE • You can click Reset, and then click Apply to get the complete log entries. 3. Click Export. 4. The Export window appears prompting you to select the desired export format. 5. Click the drop-down menu to select the desired format (.CSV or .XML), and then click Export to continue. 6. A window appears prompting you to choose between opening or saving the exported file. 7. Click to select Save File, and then click OK. 8. In the opened window, locate the desired directory to save the file. 3.5.5 Emptying Event Logs To empty event logs of your system, please do the following: NOTE • You cannot partially delete log entries. WARNING • Emptying log will delete all log entries. Ensure that you don't need the information in the future before proceeding. 1. On ViewSonic Device Manager, click Logs tab. 2. Exporting Event Logs
To export event logs of your system, please do the following:
1.
On ViewSonic Device Manager, click
Logs
tab.
2.
The Log list appears.
To export log entries within a specific scope, click the drop-down menus to define the scope, and then click
Apply
to confirm.
To export all log entries, ensure that, on drop-down menus, the selected options do not limit the scope of
the Log list.
NOTE
You can click
Reset
, and then click
Apply
to get the complete log entries.

Export
.

The Export window appears prompting you to select the desired export format.

Click the drop-down menu to select the desired format (.CSV or .XML), and then click
Export
to continue.

A window appears prompting you to choose between opening or saving the exported file.

Save File

Emptying Event Logs
To empty event logs of your system, please do the following:
NOTE
You cannot partially delete log entries.
WARNING
Emptying log will delete all log entries. Ensure that you don’t need the information
in the future before proceeding.
