You will be presented with three choices: 1) Pattern: set an unlock pattern that you must draw onscreen to unlock the device. 2) PIN: set a numeric combination of more than 4 but less than 16 digits. 3) Password: set an alphanumeric combination of more than 4 but less than 16 digits. How can I lock my device? Once you have chosen the lock type, you need to enter your combination twice to set the lock. To disable the lock, please press Menu > Settings > Location & Security > Change Screen lock> Enter your password> None.
