4.3.6 Wireless Speakers Press the button to highlight the Wireless Speakers selection. Press the button to turn the Sub-Woofer and rear Satellite speakers On or Off. If your JV50P is receiving 5.1 Surround from an HD program or through the Optical Audio input then it will correctly play it through the five speakers and one subwoofer. VIZIO JV50P HDTV10A User Manual When 5.1 Surround Sound is being received the Red 5.1 indicator behind the Center Speaker grille on the HDTV will turn on. If this indicator is off the HDTV is not receiving true 5.1 Surround Sound. If the JV50P is receiving stereo from any program or input it will play it through all the speakers as Simulated Surround Sound. If you prefer to listen to stereo as stereo sound you can turn-off the Wireless Speakers and the sound will only play through the left and right speakers of the HDTV. 4.3.7 SPDIF In Press the button to highlight the SPDIF selection. Press the button to choose with which input you want the Optical Audio input (SPDIF) to be associated. The choices are AV1, AV2, Component1, Component2, HDMI1, HDMI2 and HDMI3. If you do not have anything connected to this input it is best to leave it Off. 4.3.8 Speaker Setting Press the button to highlight the Speakers Setting selection and press the button. Wireless Speakers
Press the
button to highlight the Wireless
Speakers selection.
Press the
button to turn the Sub-Woofer and
rear Satellite speakers On or Off.
If your JV50P is
receiving 5.1 Surround from an HD program or
through the Optical Audio input then it will correctly
play it through the five speakers and one sub-
woofer.
When 5.1 Surround Sound is being received the Red 5.1
indicator behind the Center Speaker grille on the HDTV
will turn on.
