requires

two

"AA"

batteries

(not

included);

alkaline

batteries

are

recommended.

To

install

batteries,

first

slide

open

the

Battery

Cover

(58).

Remove

the

battery

clip

from

the

Console

(3).

Press

two

batter-

ies

into

the

battery

clip,

with

the

negative

(—)

ends

of

the

batter-

ies

touching

the

springs.

Hold

the

battery

clip

in

the

Console

and

close

the

Battery

Cover.

Make

sure

that

all

parts

are

tightened

before

you

use

the

treadmill.

Note:

To

protect

the

floor

or

carpet

from

damage,

place

a

mat

beneath

the

treadmill.
