Place fabric freshener at least 18 inches (46 cm) above the floor for a garage installation. Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire. Electrical Connection To properly install your Fabric Freshener, you must determine the type of electrical connection you will be using and follow the instructions provided for it here. s The Fabric Freshener should be connected to a 120 volt, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused 2 prong polarized outlet. s Electrical consumption: at $0.04 (approximate) per cycle, 150 cycles per year = $6 per year (approximate).
