Option B: No Waste disposer-no air gap Waste tee Large drain hose clamp Drain hose 1 Rubber end 2 Drain trap 1. Fit rubber end of drain hose to waste tee. 2. Attach rubber end of drain hose to waste tee with a hose clamp. Use a 1" to 11/2" (25 to 38 mm) screw-type clamp (not provided). 4. Attach rubber end of drain hose to air 4 gap with a hose clamp. Use a 1" to 11/2" (25 to 38 mm) screw-type clamp (not provided). 5. Use a rubber hose (not provided) with 5 screw-type clamps to connect from air gap to disposer inlet. Option D: No waste disposer - with air gap Screw-type clamps Waste tee Drain trap Air gap Large drain hose clamp Rubber hose connector Drain hose Option C: Waste disposer - with air gap Screw-type clamps Disposer inlet Air gap Large drain hose clamp Rubber hose connector Drain hose Drain trap Helpful Tip: Remove disposer knockout plug. 1 1. Using a hammer and screwdriver, knock plug into disposer. 1 Rubber end 2 3 1. Connect rubber end of drain hose to air gap. 2. Attach drain hose to air gap.
