Changing brightness of the display CDX-880, CDX-580 You can change the brightness of the display (or turn off the illumination) by pressing the DIMMER button. During play During stopped or paused Normal illumination Normal illumination Dim DIMMER Dim "OFF" * While the display illumination is off, the AUTO DISPLAY OFF indicator on the front panel is illuminated. AUTO DISPLAY OFF Dim (The AUTO DISPLAY OFF indicator lights up. In this state, if a disc is played, the display illumination will be turned off.) CDX-480 If desired, you can change brightness of the display in three degrees by pressing the DIMMER button.
