Also in the Submenu, you can select Direct Access if you know the desired channel number. Direct Access entry dialog Specify the desired channel number by pressing the on-screen numeric buttons, followed by OK. Press CLR to clear your entry. Wait for a few seconds until the MCX-2000 automatically tunes in to that channel. n Pressing any buttons other than the numeric buttons cancels Direct Access entry. Screen Messages for XM Radio The MCX-2000 may show one of the following messages in the Play Information screen for XM radio. Read each description and handle each situation as recommended. Message CHECK ANTENNA UPDATING NO SIGNAL LOADING OFF AIR CHANNEL - - - Description Your XM Connect-and-Play antenna is not connected, or does not work properly. The XM user encryption code is being updated. The signal is too weak. The audio or text data decoding process takes longer than four seconds. The XM Satellite Radio channel you selected is not currently broadcasting any signal. The channel station ID (SID) is no longer available. No artist name/feature or song/program title is available. No channels are available for the selected category. Action/Solution Check that your XM Connect-and-Play antenna is properly connected. Wait until the encryption code is completely updated. Check the XM Connect-and-Play antenna connections and position the antenna for the best reception. Wait until the decoding process is finished.
