English SPEAKER BALANCE ADJUSTMENT This procedure lets you adjust the sound output level balance between the main, center, and rear speakers using the built-in test tone generator. When this adjustment is performed, the level heard at the listening position should sound the same from each speaker. This is important for the best performance of the digital sound field processor and the Dolby Pro Logic Surround decoder. 2 1 L R 34 - + TIME/ LEVEL DELAY/CENTER /REAR/SWFR TEST EFFECT PROGRAM PROLOGIC ENHANCED ON/OFF VCR TV/DBS DVD/LD DIR A DIR B REC/PAUSE PLAY 2CH /6CH A/B TAPE - PRESET + A/B/C/D/E TUNER DISC PLAY CD PHONO POWER /I SLEEP VOLUME 5 1 VOLUME l6 20 l2 28 8 40 44 60 2 0 -dB Set VOLUME to the minimum level (- ∞ dB). 2 Turn the power on.
