TUNING Quick automatic-search tuning (AUTOMATIC TUNING) is effective when station signals are strong and there is no interference. However, if the signal from the station you want to select is weak, you must tune in to it manually (MANUAL TUNING). 23 1 AUTOMATIC TUNING MANUAL TUNING Set the SELECTOR DIAL to the AMP/TUN position on the remote control and select TUNER as the input source. 1 Select the reception band (FM or AM) and confirm it on the display. Notes • If you tune in manually to an FM station, it will be automati- cally received in monaural mode to increase the signal quality. • When tuned in to a station, the frequency of the received station is shown on the display. If an RDS station that employs the PS data service is being received, the station name is also shown on the display.

AUTOMATIC TUNING
TUNING
Quick automatic-search tuning (AUTOMATIC TUNING) is effective when station signals are strong and there is no interference.
However, if the signal from the station you want to select is weak, you must tune in to it manually (MANUAL TUNING).

Check that the “AUTO
TUNING” indicator goes off.
