With a Euroblock connection, the stranded wire may be prone to breakage because of metal fatigue due to the weight of the cable or due to vibration. When rack-mounting your equipment, use a lacing bar when possible to bundle and fasten the cables. approx. 7 mm • If cables will be frequently connected and disconnected, as in the case of a portable installation, we recommend that you use ferrules with insulation sleeves. Be sure to use speakers that support the XH200's line-out voltage of 70V or 100V. 1 If the wire insertion ports are closed, turn the screws on top of the connector counterclockwise to open the ports. 2 Insert the wires into the appropriate ports, following the indication of the pole on the input terminal, turn the screws on top of the connector clockwise to fix the wires. 3 Attach the Euroblock connector to the input terminal on the unit. You cannot connect a low-impedance speaker directly to the XH200. In this case, be sure to use a speaker transformer (such as the Yamaha ST15). Be sure to use speakers that support the
XH200’s line-out voltage of 70V or 100V.
You cannot connect a low-impedance speaker
directly to the XH200. In this case, be sure to use
a speaker transformer (such as the Yamaha
ST15). Follow the instruction guide that came
with the speaker transformer to avoid excessive
loads.
Connection
Using a Euroblock connector

If the wire insertion ports are closed, turn the screws on
top of the connector counterclockwise to open the ports.

Insert the wires into the appropriate ports, following the
indication of the pole on the input terminal, turn the
screws on top of the connector clockwise to fix the
wires.

Attach the Euroblock connector to the input terminal on
the unit.

Cable preparation

stranded wire to make connections. With a Euroblock
connection, the stranded wire may be prone to breakage
because of metal fatigue due to the weight of the cable or
due to vibration. When rack-mounting your equipment,
use a lacing bar when possible to bundle and fasten the
cables.

as in the case of a portable installation, we recommend
