PREPARATION PLAYBACK Receiving weak signal If reception is poor, making listening difficult, it may be improved by switching from stereo to monaural sound. 1 Press the OPTION key. The option menu (☞p. 42) appears. 2 Press the S/T key to select "FM MODE" and press the X key.1) FM MODE 3 Press the S/T key to select "MONO". Playback features Registering FM stations and tuning in (Preset tuning) You can register up to 40 FM stations automatically or manually.
