ZyAIR Wireless LAN Utility Table 5-1 ZyAIR Utility: Advanced FIELD DESCRIPTION Transmit Threshold Control Fragmentation The threshold (number of bytes) for the fragmentation boundary for directed Threshold messages. It is the maximum data fragment size that can be sent. Move the slider to set the fragmentation threshold. RTS/CTS Threshold Data with its frame size larger than this value will perform the RTS/CTS handshake. Setting this attribute to be larger than the maximum MSDU (MAC service data unit) size turns off the RTS/CTS handshake. Setting this attribute to zero turns on the RTS/CTS handshake. Move the slider to set the RTS/CTS threshold. Security Shared Mode Select this checkbox to use a shared key to authenticate the access point. (Authenticate Access Refer to Section 5.1.2 for more information. Point) Preamble Type Select a preamble type from the drop-down list menu. Choices are Long Preamble, Short Preamble and Auto. The default setting is Auto. Refer to Section 5.1.3 for more information. Restore Default Click Restore Default to reset all fields back to factory default values.
