P-202H Plus v2 User's Guide 18.2 Ethernet TCP/IP and DHCP Server The ZyXEL Device has built-in DHCP server capability that assigns IP addresses and DNS servers to systems that support DHCP client capability. For remote node TCP/IP configuration, refer to the chapter on Remote Node Configuration. 18.3 Configuring TCP/IP Ethernet Setup and DHCP Use menu 3.2 to configure your ZyXEL Device for TCP/IP. To edit menu 3.2, enter 3 from the main menu to display Menu 3 - LAN Setup. Table 60 DHCP Ethernet Setup Fields FIELD DESCRIPTION DHCP Setup DHCP Client IP Pool Starting Address This field enables/disables the DHCP server. If set to Server, your ZyXEL Device will act as a DHCP server. If set to None, the DHCP server will be disabled. If set to Relay, the ZyXEL Device acts as a surrogate DHCP server and relays requests and responses between the remote server and the clients.
