Chapter 4 Connection Status and System Info Screens Table 9 System Info Screen LABEL Refresh Interval Device Information Host Name Model Name MAC Address Firmware Version WAN Information Mode IP Address IP Subnet Mask LAN Information IP Address IP Subnet Mask DHCP Server DESCRIPTION Select how often you want the ZyXEL Device to update this screen from the drop-down list box. This field displays the ZyXEL Device system name. It is used for identification. You can change this in the Maintenance > System screen's Host Name field. This is the model name of your device. This is the MAC (Media Access Control) or Ethernet address unique to your ZyXEL Device. This field displays the current version of the firmware inside the device. It also shows the date the firmware version was created. Go to the Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade screen to change it. This is the method of encapsulation used by your ISP. This field displays the current IP address of the ZyXEL Device in the WAN. This field displays the current subnet mask in the WAN. This field displays the current IP address of the ZyXEL Device in the LAN. This field displays the current subnet mask in the LAN. This field displays what DHCP services the ZyXEL Device is providing to the LAN. Choices are: Server - The ZyXEL Device is a DHCP server in the LAN. It assigns IP addresses to other computers in the LAN. WLAN Information Channel WPS Status SSID (1~4) Information SSID Status Security Mode Interface Status Interface None - The ZyXEL Device is not providing any DHCP services to the LAN. This is the channel number used by the ZyXEL Device now. Configured displays when the WPS security settings have been configured and wireless clients can connect with the device through WPS. Unconfigured displays when the device has not been configured and wireless clients can't establish a link with the device through WPS. This is the descriptive name used to identify the ZyXEL Device in the wireless LAN. This shows whether or not the SSID is enabled (on). This displays the type of security the ZyXEL Device is using in the wireless LAN. This column displays each interface the ZyXEL Device has. ADSL Series User's Guide 85
