Routing • If you selected Routing in step 1 of this section, one of the following four screens appears depending on the Encapsulation you chose in step 1 of this section. • PPPoA, PPPoE: Type your User Name and Password. • PPPoE, PPPoA, ENET: Select Obtain an IP Address Automatically if your ISP (Internet Service Provider) assigns IP addresses automatically. Otherwise, select Static IP Address if your ISP has assigned you an IP address. Check with your ISP if you are unsure of which setting to choose. RFC 1483 ENET • PPPoA, PPPoE: Select Nailed-Up Connection to set a permanent connection which automatically reconnects on disconnection. Select Connect on Demand to allow connection only when required and with an idle time-out period (in seconds) in the Max. Idle Timeout field. PPPoA PPPoE • PPPoE, PPPoA, ENET, RFC 1483: Select SUA Only for shared Internet access with a single ISP. This is recommended. Otherwise, select None if accessing the Internet on a public IP address, or select Full Feature for advanced NAT features. See your User's Guide for more details. 4 Click Next. 6
