5.3 INQUIRY Command INQUIRY is used to find other Bluetooth devices in the area i.e. to make a device discovery. 5.3.1 Syntax Synopsis: INQUIRY {timeout} [NAME] [LAP {lap}] Description: timeout NAME LAP lap The maximum amount of time (in units of 1.28 seconds) before the inquiry process is halted. Range: 1-48 Optional flag to automatically request the friendly name for found devices. See command NAME for more information about the remote name request. Optional flag for specifying that inquiry access code will be used. Value for inquiry access code. The following values are possible: 0x9e8b33 General/Unlimited Inquiry Access Code (GIAC). This is the default value unless "SET BT LAP" is used. 0x9e8b00 Limited Dedicated Inquiry Access Code (LIAC). 0x9e8b01-0x9e8b32 and 0x9e8b34-0x9e8b3f Reserved for future use. 28
