Removethetwoscrewsattheenginecoverusingalonghandled screwdriver.Thescrewsarenotsuppose to comeout of the cover,only fromthefrontofdash.Whenremovingthecover,becarefulnot to damagetheinstrumentpanelorthetrim. 9. Graspthebottomofthecoverandslide and out of the vehicle. To Install the Engine Cover: 1. Lifttheenginecoverintothevehicleandslide Makesuretherubbersealisoverthelatches. 2. Installthetwoscrewsat the way. it backwards.Then,lift it up it allthe way forward. the enginecover. Do not tighten the screwsall of the cover. 3. Press downoneach of thetwolatchesatthebottom Makesuretheyaresecure. 4. Tightenthetwoscrewsattheenginecover. 5. Turnthebracketintopositionandinstallthebolt.Tightenthenutatthe otherendof thebracket. 6. Put theheaterductovertheenginecoverstuds.Push gentlyuntil it snapsintoplace. 7. Reconnecttheelectricalconnectorforthecigarettelighter. up ontheduct 6-1 8
