CHASSISLUBRICATION -Lubricatethefrontsuspension,kingpin bushings,steeringlinkage,transfercaseshiftlinkage,parkingbrakecable guides,propshaftsplines,universaljointsandbrakepedalspringsatthe intervalsspecifiedonthepropermaintenancescheduleoratevery engineoilchange,whichevercomesfirst. Balljointsandkingpinbushingsshouldnotbelubricatedunlesstheir temperatureis 10°F (-12"C), orhigher.Whentheweatheriscold,let themwarmupbeforelubricationortheycouldbedamaged. Also,besure tocheckallthevehiclefluidlevelsatthistime. 3. COOLINGSYSTEMSERVICE* -Drain,flushandrefillsystemwithnew coolant.SeetheIndexunder"EngineCoolant''forthepropercoolant andmixturetouse in yourvehicle. if theyarecracked,swollen,or Alsoinspectthehosesandreplacethem deteriorated.Tightenallhoseclamps.Cleantheoutside of theradiator To ensureproper andairconditioningcondenser.Washtheradiatorneck. operation,pressuretesttheradiatorandcap. 4.
