Maintenance and care Height of low beam lamp bulb center 52 mm 7.6 meters Height of reference line on wall 5. Turn on the low beam headlamps. Notice that both the driver's side lamp and the passenger's side lamp create similar light patterns on the wall (see Fig. 1). If the left side of the cutĆoff line of either lamp is above or below the reference line on the wall, the vertical aim of that lamp requires adjusting. 6. On the lamp requiring adjustment, turn the adjusting screw marked with V1 in the desired direction (up or down). The vertical aim is correct when the horizontal cutĆoff line on the left side of the lamp's light pattern is vertically lined up with the horizontal reference line on the screen as shown in Fig. 1. 7. Turn the adjusting screw V2 in the same direction and by the same number of revolutions as V1. Note: The adjusting screws V1 and V2 may be turned at the same time or V1 before V2. Never turn V2 before V1. Doing so will cause misĆaimed headlamps. 8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 above on the other headlamp if required. 5. Turn
on
the
low beam
headlamps.
Notice
that both
the
driver's side
lamp
and the
passenger's
side

similar
light patterns
on
the

(see
Fig.

If the
left
side
of the
cutĆoff
line
of either
lamp
is above
or
below the
reference
line
on
the
wall,
the
vertical aim of that
lamp
requires
adjusting.
6. On the
lamp
requiring
adjustment,
turn
the
adjusting
screw marked
with
V1 in
the
desired direction
(up
or
down).
The
vertical
aim is correct when
the
horizontal
cutĆoff line
on
the
left side
of the
lamp's light pattern
is vertically
lined
up
with
the
horizontal
reference
line
on
the
screen as shown
in
Fig.
1.
7. Turn
the
adjusting
screw V2 in
the
same
direction
and
by
the
same
number
of revolutions
as
V1.
Note:
The
adjusting
screws
V1 and
V2
may
be
turned
at
the
same
time
or
V1 before
V2.
Never
turn
V2
before
V1.
Doing
so will
cause
misĆaimed
headlamps.
8. Repeat
steps 6 and
7 above
on
the
other
headlamp
if
required.
