SystemBeeps:

Select the “System Beeps” key to toggle the

systembeeptonesfeatureonoroff.Whenacti-

vated,abeepsoundwillbeheardwhenapop-up

message appears on the screen or a button on

the unit (such as the

button) is pressed

andheldfortwoseconds.

Resetallsettings/memory:

Select the “Reset All Settings/Memory” key to

return all settings to default and to clear the

memory.

BUTTON

To change the display brightness, press

the

button. Pressing the button again will

changethedisplaytothedayorthenightdisplay.

Ifnooperationisperformedwithin5seconds,the

displaywillreturntothepreviousdisplay.

Press and hold the

button for more than

two seconds to turn the display off. Press the

buttonagaintoturnthedisplayon.

When the shift selector is shifted into the R

(Reverse) position, the monitor display shows a

rearwardviewfromthevehicle.

Thesystemisdesignedasanaidtothe

driver in detecting large stationary ob-

jects to help avoid damaging the ve-

hicle. The system will not detect small

objectsbelowthebumper,andmaynot

detect objects close to the bumper or

ontheground.

TheRearViewMonitorisaconvenience

butitisnotasubstituteforproperback-

ing.Alwaysturnandcheckthatitissafe

to do so before backing up. Always

backupslowly.

●

Objects viewed in the RearView Moni-

tor differ from actual distance because

awide-anglelensisused.

●

Do not put anything on the rearview

camera. The rearview camera is in-

stalledbesidethelicenseplatelight.
