It should be parked on a ...level surface. ,.+r8!y 1 Ignition TransaxleLock Check While parked, and with theparki g brake set, try to turn the ignition key to LOCK in eacl shift lever position. With an automatic transaxle, le key should turn to LOCK only when the shiftle =ris in PARK (P). With a manual transaxle, the : sy should turn to LOCK only when the shift ever is in REVERSE (R).
