Typical Configuration 49 The Set Password window appears. This password is used to guard access to the Dual 56K LAN Modem's configuration program. If you would like to restrict access to the configuration settings, select a password and record it in a safe place. Figure 31 Set Password Window 3 Enter a password in the Password field and then enter the same password in the Password (repeat) field to confirm it. If you do not wish to enter a password, leave the fields empty. By entering a password, you restrict access to the LAN Modem's configuration screens. This password locks automatically after five minutes of inactivity. 4 Click Submit. A message box indicates that your password has been set.
