When the modifier's auto property is set to TRUE, the value of the level property is dynamically updated, but cannot be set. The #lod modifier can only be added to models created outside of Director in 3D modeling programs. The value of the type property of the model resources used by these models is #fromFile. The modifier cannot be added to primitives created within Director. Example The following statement sets the level property of the lod modifier of the model Spaceship to 50. If the lod modifier's auto property is set to FALSE, Spaceship will be drawn at a medium level of detail.
