CLEANING THE STEAM GENERATOR TANK FILTER Each time you empty the condensate tank, clean the steam generator tank filter as well. The filter is located in the tank housing (visible when the condensate tank is removed). 1 Remove the condensate tank. 2 Remove the filter from the slot in the condensate tank housing. 3 Clean the filter thoroughly under running water. If necessary, clean the filter slot as well. When pulling out the filter, make sure not to discard the lint and fibre accumulated during operation back inside, as this may clog the system. Replace the filter correctly into the slot (otherwise, the filter will not perform its function, which may result in clogging of the system).
