To switch between NUM lock and the multi-tap input method in a number or password field, hold the Shift key. To type a password, use the multi-tap input method. Press a letter key once to type the first letter on the key. Press a letter key twice to type the second letter on the key. To type a number in a password field, hold the Alt key. Press the number key. Editing text To move the cursor horizontally through a line of text, hold the Alt key and roll the trackwheel.
