Child Lock Turning child lock on and off Turning on Turning off Automatic child lock Turning on and off You can use the child lock to prevent children from turning the cooktop on. The cooktop must be turned off. Touch Clean Lock / Child Lock for 4 seconds. The D symbol will come on for 4 seconds. The cooktop is now locked. Touch Clean Lock / Child Lock for 4 seconds. The safety panel lock is now canceled. This function automatically activates the child lock whenever you turn the cooktop off. Refer to the chapter on Basic Settings to learn how to activate the automative child lock. Clean Lock Note Wiping across the control panel while the cooktop is on could change the settings. To prevent this, the cooktop has a Clean Lock function. Touch Clean Lock / Child Lock. The > symbol lights up. The control panel is then locked for 30 seconds. You can now wipe the control panel without affecting the settings. The Clean Lock function does not affect the main On/Off switch. You can turn off the cooktop at any time. 13
