4. Programming 4-1 Selecting hardware on output side Output is NPN open collector output. PCB internal circuit +24V COM terminal Load Output I = 70mA terminal On the assumption that output activates the air valve (option part). Use a 24 VDC relay if not using a 24 V air valve. PCB internal circuit External 24V relay +24V COM terminal Load L L Output terminal Power No fuses are built in the output circuit. To prevent circuit damage when forming short output, it is recommendable to install an external fuse on each output. 4-2 Selecting hardware on input side Input is non-insulating IC input. PCB internal circuit Example of connection with proximity sensor +5 +24V 4.7KΩ Input terminal 0V Vcc Sensor output Sensor output NPN open collector 0V Insulate input using a relay if not using a contact switch or a 24 V sensor. PCB internal circuit +5 +24V External relay 4.7KΩ Input terminal 0 External apparatu Use a relay for electronic circuit whose maximum applicable load is 5 V and 1m A or less. 14
