AF Modes and Metering Modes El Eye-Controlled Autofocus With Eye-Controlled Autofocus, you select the desired focusing point just by looking at it. The camera instantly detects which focusing point your eye is looking at. That focusing point then focuses the subject. Eye-Controlled Autofocus is also effective for vertical shots. When using Eye-Controlled Autofocus, the camera must be held properly as described on page 43. Eye-Controlled Autofocus enables the following: • You can focus where you want instantly. • The focusing point can be switched instantly at will.
