Administrator Program Settings Email SmartWorks MFP does not use a local email client, but makes use of a remote email service. Enter the SMTP server and Port number of the email server you wish to use. (E.g. request a new email address from your local network administrator and request that SmartWorks MFP is allowed access to the SMTP server). If the Email settings are incorrect, or SmartWorks is blocked on the email server, an email failure error message will be displayed. Note: Email services may require the settings to be changed to allow SmartWorks to access the email server. E.g. Turn on "Less Secure Apps" and disable "2-Step Verification".
