Chapter 30 Configuring IPv6 MLD Snooping Configuring IPv6 MLD Snooping Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to add a multicast router port to a VLAN: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Command Purpose configure terminal Enter global configuration mode. ipv6 mld snooping vlan vlan-id mrouter interface interface-id Specify the multicast router VLAN ID, and specify the interface to the multicast router. • The VLAN ID range is 1 to 1001 and 1006 to 4094. • The interface can be a physical interface or a port channel. You should only use the Immediate-Leave feature when there is a single receiver present on every port in the VLAN. When there are multiple clients for a multicast group on the same port, you should not enable Immediate-Leave in a VLAN.
