The sensor detects movement inside the vehicle by sensing air disturbance. Glass Tamper Sensor: Metal on glass, glass cracking, and breaking glass each produce distinctive acoustic signatures. The 506T glass tamper sensor uses a microphone to pick up sounds, and then analyzes them with proprietary acoustic software to determine if the glass has been struck. For sensitivity adjustments for all sensors, please return to your installing Clifford dealer. glossary of terms Control Unit: The "brain" of your system. Input: A physical connection to the system. An input can be provided by a sensor, pinswitch or through an existing system in the vehicle, such as ignition or courtesy lights. LED: Blue light mounted somewhere visible in the vehicle. It is used to indicate the status of your system. It is also used to report triggers and faults in the system or sensors.
