Connecting to an Ethernet Network An RJ-45 (8-pin) Ethernet connector is built into the computer on the rear panel. To connect to an Ethernet network: 1. Using the network cable appropriate for your network, connect one end of the network cable to the Ethernet RJ-45 Connector 1 on your computer. 2. Ensure that both connections are secure. The following illustration shows the Ethernet RJ-45 activity lights 2. The yellow light blinks when linking to the network; the green light blinks during network activity.
