 When you restart the computer and the screen displays a message that says "system options not set," you should verify the system date and time. After the CMOS jumper is removed, your passwords will become invalid because the passwords are stored in the configuration memory. You will need to reset your passwords and any special system setups. Refer to the Software Reference Guide. Using a Power Strip to Control Power If you connect your computer to an electric power strip and would like to turn on power to the computer using the switch on the power strip, set S6 on SW1 to ON.  If you turn off power to your computer using the switch on a power strip, you will drain the computer's battery and will not be able to use the Suspend feature or the Remote Management features.
