Troubleshooting - Processor initialization - PXE initialization - Operating system initialization If the server blade completes POST and attempts to load the operating system, go to the "Problems After Initial Boot" section in this appendix. Server Blade Diagnostic Steps If the server blade does not start, or powers up but does not complete POST, answer the questions in Table D-9 to determine appropriate actions based on the symptoms observed. According to the answers you give, you are directed to the appropriate table in the section that immediately follows. That table outlines possible reasons for the problem, options available to assist in diagnosis, possible solutions, and references to other sources of information. Table D-9: Server Blade Diagnostic Steps Question Question 1: Is the power LED on the server blade green? Question 2: Is the health LED on the server blade green? Question 3: Is the NIC 1 or NIC 2 LED on the server blade illuminated? Question 4: Is the monitor displaying information when connected to the server blade through the diagnostic adapter?
