headset to connect both in Multipoint. Creative ShareMe™ connection • The Creative Aurvana Platinum allows you to share your entertainment with another person wearing another set of Creative Aurvana Platinum or Creative wireless headset featuring Creative ShareMe™ connectivity. • Before enabling Creative ShareMe connection, pause your music playback and disengage any voice call on your mobile device. • Place the two headsets to be paired close together and power them on. • Simultaneously press the Volume Up "+" and Volume Down "-" buttons (Set A) on the first headset until the indicator turns Green and blinks rapidly; and simultaneously press the "Next" and "Previous" buttons (Set B) on the second headset until the indicator turns Green and blinks rapidly. • Note that if the first headset to be paired is using Set A buttons, then the second headset will need to use Set B buttons; or vice versa. • Once the two headsets are paired, their indicators will blink in a combination of blue and green colors. • To conserve battery life, ShareMe connection will end in 15 minutes if no audio is streamed from the device. • Note that in Creative ShareMe connection, the paired headset is considered as one of the Multipoint device. Voice command and indicators • The Creative Aurvana Platinum provides audible indicators on headset connectivity or battery level status. Press the Multifunction button twice to find out the battery level status (except during voice calls). • Note that this is currently available in English only. Press and release Multifunction and Volume Down "-" buttons to disable. Press and release Multifunction and Volume Up "+" buttons to enable. • The headset battery level indicator will be displayed on an iPhone® or iPad® once paired and connected (device dependent). Clear or reset headset • Press and hold the Volume Down "-" and Multifunction buttons for more than 6 seconds to clear the paired Bluetooth devices • If the headset malfunctions, reset it by supplying USB power, then press the Volume Up "+" and Multifunction buttons for about 1 second Automatic shutdown • Once the headset is powered on, if it is unable to connect to the last paired device or failed to pair with a new device within 5 minutes, the headset will automatically shut down. List of button, indicator and connector / port functions Button Function 1. Multifunction (Power / Pair / Power: Press and hold for 2 seconds to power on the headset. Call and Play / Pause) Press and hold for 3 seconds to power off the headset. Pair: In off mode, press and hold for more than 5 seconds to activate Pairing mode. Call: Press and hold for 1 second to activate voice dial. Press and release to answer or end an incoming call. Press and hold for 2 seconds to reject a call during an incoming call. Press twice to accept a call waiting and put on hold the ongoing call. Press together with '+' button and release to initiate a three-way call. Music playback: Press to play. Press again to pause playback 2. Next, Forward / Previous, Backward / 3. Volume Up / Volume Down / Press to change to the next or previous track. Press and hold to scroll forward or backward a track (device dependent). Press '+' to increase or press '-' to decrease volume. A beep tone is emitted at maximum volume level. Press and release both '+' and '-' to mute or unmute the microphone during a call. (not available in ShareMe). 4. Slide towards (l) to turn on Active Noise Cancellation to reduce hearing unwanted external noises. Slide towards (o) to turn it off. Toggle between 3 levels of noise cancellation characteristics to 5. suit the environment or your personal preference: 1. Airplane mode: employs the most aggressive noise cancellation to counter low frequency jet engine noises. 2. Outdoor mode: this setting is ideal for commuting on a bus or train; or when walking along streets to counter low to medium frequency noises. 3. Indoor mode: employs the least aggressive noise cancellation for use in an office or home setting.
