Remove the tray. 2. If you are loading legal or folio size paper, you must adjust the paper tray to accommodate the larger paper. a. Press down on the latch at the back of the tray. b. Expand the tray until the extender locks into place. c. Move the rear paper guide to the back of the paper tray.

Loading the 250-Sheet and 550-Sheet Paper Trays
Follow these instructions to load paper in the 250-sheet and 550-sheet paper trays.
1. Remove the tray.
2. If you are loading legal or folio size paper, you must adjust the paper tray to accommodate the larger paper.
a. Press down on the latch at the back of the tray.
b. Expand the tray until the extender locks into place.
c. Move the rear paper guide to the back of the paper tray.
