Dell Networking Mobility Starter Kit - Quick Setup Guide • Internet Explorer (v 9 and above) Supported Operating System Versions: • Windows 2003 (Standard, Enterprise and Web 64-bit only) • Windows Server 2008 (including R2 and Enterprise Edition), 64-bit only. • Red Hat (Enterprise version 5.5 or 6.0) Linux, 64-bit only. NOTE: You must disable User Account Control if you are installing on Windows Server 2008. Temporarily disable the system Firewall or any Anti-Virus software prior to install. Install OMNM 5.1 and the GUI wizard will walk you through initial setup. OpenManage Network Manager will install as a service and will start automatically. Please refer to User Guide and release notes for additional setup information. 17
