15. Lift the system board out and away from the base. Installing the System Board 1. Perform all the steps in Removing the System Board in reverse order. NOTE: When installing the system board, ensure that you align the wireless switch on the base with the switch on the system board. 1 wireless switch 2. Insert the battery into the battery bay. 3. Connect the AC adapter to the computer and to an electrical outlet. NOTICE: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer. 4. Turn on the computer. NOTE: After replacing the system board, enter the computer Service Tag into the BIOS of the replacement system board. 5. Insert the CD that accompanied the replacement system board into the appropriate drive. Follow the instructions on the screen. Back to Contents Page

3.

4.
Turn on the computer.
5.
Insert the CD that accompanied the replacement system board into the appropriate drive. Follow the instructions on the screen.
