12.3.1 Disassembling the battery-pack Before disassembling the battery-pack, see: 12.1.2 Safety Precautions and Battery Warnings In addition, after removing the battery-pack chassis lid and removing the Lithium-ion battery assembly from the battery-pack chassis: There is potential for hazardous voltage between the terminals of this battery. Do not deviate from these steps. Do not touch the copper bus bars. In step 5, you are instructed to test the battery at the exposed terminal points. See: Step 5 See Locating Materials on a Li Ion SPS Battery-pack to identify respective subcomponents. 1. Using a T10 Torx driver, remove the 8 fasteners that secure the battery-pack enclosure. One of the fasteners is under the label and the general area is circled in the image below. Use your finger to identify the indentation and then break through the label to access the fastener.
