Basic version Advanced version Option Setup Make various option settings. Menu operation 1 Press MENU. The menu is displayed on the TV screen. 2 Use ui to select "Option Setup", and then press ENTER. 3 Use ui to select the menu to be set or operated. 4 Press ENTER to enter the setting. • To return to the previous item, press RETURN B. • Exiting the Menu, press MENU while the menu is displayed. The menu display disappears. Items that can be set with the "Option Setup" procedure Volume Control (vpage 34) Other Setup (vpage 35) Volume Control Sets the volume setting. Setting items Volume Display Set how volume is displayed. Volume Limit Make a setting for maximum volume. Power On Level Define the volume setting that is active when the power is turned on. Mute Level Set the amount of attenuation when muting is on. Default settings are underlined. Setting details Relative : Display ---dB (Min), in the range -80.5 dB to 18 dB. Absolute : Display in the range 0 (Min) to 99. The "Volume Display" setting is applied also to the "Volume Limit" and "Power On Level" display method. OFF : Do not set a maximum volume. -20dB (61) / -10dB (71) / 0dB (81) If "Volume Display" is set to "Absolute", the value in ( ) is displayed. Last : Use the memorized setting from the last session. - - - (0) : Always use the muting on condition when power is turned on. -80dB - 18dB (1 - 99) : The volume is adjusted to the set level. Full : The sound is muted entirely. -40dB : The sound is attenuated by 40 dB down. -20dB : The sound is attenuated by 20 dB down. Information BD 34
