Printout problems Some or all of the printout is garbled or printed as asterisks Make sure both ends of the interface cable are plugged in securely. Make sure you use a double-shielded, twisted-pair interface cable no more than six feet in length. If the printer still does not print correctly, contact your dealer or a qualified service person. 4 Position of the printout is not correct Make sure you are using the correct page length, margin settings and offset settings in your software program. Graphics don't print correctly Graphics require large amounts of memory; see "Option problems" on page 4-18. Print quality problems The background is dark or dirty Turn off the printer. Printout problems
Make sure both ends of the interface cable are plugged in securely.
Make sure you use a double-shielded, twisted-pair interface cable
no more than six feet in length.
If the printer still does not print correctly, contact your dealer or
a qualified service person.
Make sure you are using the correct page length, margin settings
and offset settings in your software program.
Graphics require large amounts of memory; see “Option
problems” on page 4-18.
Print quality problems
