Stylus Pro 7600/9600 Printer Service Utility 8/26/02 Power Head Cleaning If Horizontal micro banding is noticed and a Nozzle test print shows misaligned, missing or deflected nozzles, head cleaning form the printer control panel, or Epson driver should be performed first, followed by another nozzle check to verify improvement in the nozzle check. If improvement is noticed then additional control panel or driver cleaning can be performed. If marginal or no improvement is noticed then the Power Head cleaning should be tried followed by nozzle a check for verification. This process can also be repeated if improvement is noticed. Power head cleaning are a stronger then normal head cleanings used recover more difficult print head nozzle issues. Power head cleanings run for approxamatly 2 1/2 minutes and use more ink then a standard cleaning. 1. Form the Printer Service Utility main menu select the Printer. 2.
