3. With the printer turned OFF, advance the paper with the paper feed knob on the right side of the printer until the first row of perforations is about even with the top of the ribbon. (See Figure 1-11.) Figure 1-11. Setting top of form This is the top of form position. It makes your printed pages end where you want them to and prevents the printer from printing on the perforations. The paper should be in this position when the power is turned on or when software initializes the printer or sets the page length. 4. Replace the tractor cover. Loading single-sheet paper... The T-750 can also accommodate single-sheet paper. It can be loaded one sheet at a time as shown in Chapter 2 or by using the optional automatic sheet feeder. Chapter 2 also contains information on how to remove and reinstall the tractor feed unit. The printer cover that comes packaged with the T-750 is for use with single-sheet paper. This is the top of form position. It makes your printed pages end
