10 Choosing the Operating Mode with DIP Switches The T-750 has 12 switches that allow you to change many of the printer's settings to suit your individual needs. You may need to change one or two of them now. These switches, known as DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches, are in the back of the printer. See Figure 1-14. Figure 1-14. DIP switch location The switches are in two groups and are numbered, as shown in Figure 1-14. As you can see in the example below, the first part of the self test shows the settings of the switches. You will find your own self test printout helpful as you use this section.
