Step 4-Insert the Companion DVD 1. Insert the Microsoft® Companion DVD into your DVD-ROM drive. 2. If the welcome screen does not automatically appear, click Start and then Run on your personal computer. Type the letter of your DVD-ROM drive followed by setup.exe (example: E:\setup.exe). Then press Enter. 3. Click the Getting Started link in the upper right corner of the welcome screen. Then click Start Here on the Main Menu. Click here Step 5-Install Microsoft Outlook® 2002 If you do not have Microsoft Outlook 98 or newer installed on your computer, or if you want to upgrade to Outlook 2002, follow these instructions. Otherwise, go directly to the next step, Install Microsoft ActiveSync. 1. Click Install Outlook 2002. Then click Install. Click Install 2. An installation message appears; click OK to acknowledge the message. When the File Download window appears, click Open or Run this program from its current location to start the installer. 3. Follow the instructions on the screen to install Outlook 2002.
