Getting Started Step 2: Configure the nüvi To turn on your nüvi, press and hold the Power button on the top of the unit. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your nüvi. Step 3: Acquire Satellites Turn on the nüvi. Flip up the GPS antenna on the back of the nüvi, so that it is parallel to the ground. Go outdoors to an open area, away from tall buildings and trees.
