AF Mode (Auto-Focus mode) Use this setting to control the auto-focus mechanism while taking pictures. AF-assist Beam This option can turn on or turn off the AF assist lamp. The AF assist lamp assists the camera in focusing correctly in low light conditions. It is not recommended that this be turned off or the camera may not focus correctly. Two options are available: • Single-AF: The focus frame appears on the center of the LCD screen to focus on the subject. • Multi-AF: The camera shall focus correctly for multiple parts of the object. 43

AF-assist Beam
This option can turn on or turn off the AF assist lamp. The AF
assist lamp assists the camera in focusing correctly in low
light conditions.
It is not recommended that this be turned off
or the camera may not focus correctly.
