Quick Start Guide 35 18. Maintain the Performance of Your Device If you experience some sluggishness with your device, try a soft reset to shut down all programs and restart your device. To perform a soft reset 1. Pull out the stylus. 2. Remove the back cover. For instructions, see "To remove the back cover" in this Quick Start Guide. 3. Use the stylus tip to press the RESET button located at the upper-left side of the open back panel. Your device then restarts. 4. Replace the back cover and insert the stylus back into its compartment. Note Refer to the "Managing Your Device" chapter in the User Manual PDF if you need instructions on performing a clear storage or hard reset. Please be informed that after performing either action, all your data will be deleted and your device will be set back to factory default settings. Make sure you back up first any additional installed programs, your data, and your files before you perform either action.

18. Maintain the Performance of Your Device
If you experience some sluggishness with your device, try a soft reset to shut
down all programs and restart your device.
To perform a soft reset
1.
Pull out the stylus.
2.
Remove the back cover. For instructions, see “To remove the back cover” in
this Quick Start Guide.
3.
Use the stylus tip to press the RESET button located at the upper-left side
of the open back panel.
Your device then restarts.
4.
Replace the back cover and insert the stylus back into its compartment.

instructions on performing a clear storage or hard reset.
Please be informed that
